My friend, David, wrote to me on Facebook and said the following: My response to him is below that. I thought I’d share it with you as a way of beginning 2010 (an artificial, but workable marker) with a call to Spiritual Activism. Blessings and a Spiritual Activist New Year!!!
******************************
Happy New Year! You are such a warrior of light! Thank you for your friendship. 2010 is the year that the tide turns for so many who have been so hurt… I wish you abundant blessings, strength and especially joy on your journey this year. My intuition feels very right about what is going to happen. Justice born from divine love will begin to manifest and we will see the beginning of shackles being broken. A new wave of freedom will as we’ve never witnessed before will begin to swell on the shores of our collective consciousnes. Your work demonstrates to me love in action and love never fails.
************
Thank you, David – and may I say the same to you. And I, too, believe that 2010 begins what has already been started, here and there.
Do we claim Oneness as our Reality? Then stand up and declare it.
Do we claim that Hate, Fearspin, and loathesome rhetoric hurled by those who only want Power and Profit over does not serve us as a Human Race (there is only one race – all else is a fallacious construct of Power)? Then stand up and declare it; leaning on each other for strength, endurance and feeling that Oneness.
Can we sing about Oneness? Then sing it out loud and sing it to those who are yearning to hear others sing to them, so others know we are here…and spreading the reality of Oneness through our songs.
Can we talk about Oneness? Then be a Spoken Word Artist…spreading the words that Heal, rather than Hurt; spreading the words that bind together, rather than tear apart.
Can we heal? Yes! We can all heal each other! We are Messengers, one to the other. Spread the message! It is all well and good never to look at what is and only speak of Peace and Light and Love. But, if you don’t stand up and spread the message you say you believe in…
how do others even know we’re here…
or that we care?
Stand up.
As One.
Hold on to one another – it makes Fear run.
Somos Uno. Bendiciones. Blessings.

If It Can’t Be Reduced
by Pete Seeger…a true Spirit of Oneness – and he has demonstrated it for years, in many ways…and still does. Simplicity, commitment, and demonstrating Who He Is in everything he does. Gotta love him!

The Second Law is that you attract what you fear.
*************** Why is that?
Emotion is the power which attracts. That which you fear strongly, you will experience. An animal – which you consider a lower form of life (even though animals act with more integrity and greater consistency than humans) – knows immediately if you are afraid of it. Plants – which you consider an even lower form of life – respond to people who love them far better than to those who couldn’t care less.
None of this is by coincidence. There is no coincidence in the universe – only a grand design; an incredible “snowflake.”
Emotion is energy in motion. When you move energy, you create effect. If you move enough energy, you create matter. Matter is energy conglomerated. Moved around. Shoved together. If you manipulate energy long enough in a certain way, you get matter. Every Master understands this law. It is the alchemy of the universe. It is the secret of all life.
Thought is pure energy. Every thought you have, have ever had, and ever will have is creative. The energy of your thought never ever dies. Ever. It leaves your being and heads out into the universe, extending forever. A thought is forever.
All thoughts congeal; all thoughts meet other thoughts, criss-crossing in an incredible maze of energy, forming an ever-changing pattern of unspeakable beauty and unbelievable complexity.
Like energy attracts like energy – forming (to use simply words) “clumps” of energy of like kind. When enough similar “clumps” criss-cross each other – run into each other – they “stick to” each other (to use another simple term.) It takes an incomprehensibly huge amount of similar energy “sticking together,” thusly, to form matter. But matter will form out of pure energy. In fact, that is the only way it can form. Once energy becomes matter, it remains matter for a very long time – unless its construction is disrupted by an opposing, or dissimilar, form of energy. This dissimilar energy, acting upon matter, actually dismembers the matter, releasing the raw energy of which it was composed.
This is, in elementary terms, the theory behind your atomic bomb. Einstein came closer than any other human – before or since – to discovering, explaining and functionalizing the creative secret of the universe.
You should now better understand how people of like mind can work together to create a favored reality. The phrase, “Wherever two or more are gathered in My name” becomes much more meaningful.
Of course, when entire societies think a certain way, very often astonishing things happen – not all of them necessarily desirable. For instance, a society living in Fear, very often – actually, inevitably – produces in form that which it fears most.
Similarly, large communities or congregations often find miracle-producing power in combined thinking (or what some people call common prayer.)
And it must be made clear that even individuals – if their thought (prayer, hope, wish, dream, fear) is amazingly strong – can, in and of themselves, produce such results. Jesus did this regularly. He understood how to manipulate energy and matter, how to rearrange it, how to redistribute it, how to utterly control it. Many Masters have known this. Many know it now.
You can know it. Right now.
This is the knowledge of good and evil of which Adam and Eve partook. Until they understood this, there could be no life as you know it. Adam and Eve – the mythical names you have given to represent First Man and First Woman – were the Father and Mother of the human experience.
What has been described as the fall of Adam was actually his upliftment – the greatest single event in the history of humankind. For without it, the world of relativity would not exist. The act of Adam and Eve was not original sin, but, in truth, first blessing. You should thank them from the bottom of your hearts – for in being the first to make a “wrong” choice, Adam and Eve produced the possibility of make any choice at all.
In your mythology you have made Eve the “bad” one here – the temptress who ate of the fruit, the knowledge of good and evil – and coyly invited Adam to join her. This mythological set-up has allowed you to make woman man’s “downfall” ever since, resulting in all manner of warped realities – not to mention distorted sexual views and confusions. (How can you feel so good about something so bad?)
What you most fear is what will most plague you. Fear will draw it to you like a magnet. All your holy scriptures – of every religious persuasion and tradition which you have created – contain the clear admonition: fear not. Do you think this is by accident?
The Laws are very simple.
1. Thought is creative.
2. Fear attracts like energy.
3. Love is all there is.
[Oops, you got me on that third one. How can love be all there is if fear attracts like energy?]
Love is the ultimate reality. It is the only. The All. The feeling of love is your experience of God. In highest Truth, love is all there is, all there was, and all there ever will be. When you move into the absolute, you move into love.
The realm of the relative was created in order that I might experience My Self. This has already been explained to you. This does not make the realm of the relative real. It is a created reality you and I have devised and continue to devise – in order that we may know ourselves experientially.

(Hi. Starting today, I’ll be running two blogs on Team Humanity Network – this one (http:www.teamhumanitynetwork.org/blog) and http://www.themiddletimes.com. Both will speak to Oneness and re-creating/co-creating sustainability and Oneness into a New Day. For me, it is my Spirit demonstrating its expression of the experience of God/Life through assisting all of us in moving through these challenging and exciting times into Oneness. For me, Humanity’s Team (http://www.humanitysteam.org) is strategically placed at the center of Oneness to stand ready and able to be a core part of co-creating a New Day.
With that in mind, I welcome you to share with me this journey. Both blogs will focus on the above. THN will have focus on the spiritual element of community and The Middle Times on the How-To of co-creating community.
*******************
It’s difficult to begin the dialogue about co-creating/re-creating community – especially during these “Middle Times” if we don’t gather awareness of the Twins of Change: Peak Oil (which includes natural gas) & Climate Change. For me, how Climate Change has gotten to where it is, is nowhere near as important as how we respond to it. To continue to uselessly debate who did it, why, the agenda, etc., is simply to waste time. That it is here, and that climate change is real can no longer be challenged – except by those who appear bent on wringing the last penny of profit before they rocket off to some other planet where they have a condo awaiting them, or by those so fearful of changing their current consumptive lifestyle that they will spin the words to mean something else.
Peak Oil is something else – ever since the Hubbert Report came out (you can google it, and eventually I’ll post info here) – that can’t truly be disputed. The 20th Century was the Oil Age and the Industrial Age. It was the best & the worst of times in many large and small ways. We’ll explore more of this as we go along.
The Link I’ve listed below is to a new series about Climate Change, so if you get a chance to watch it, I think it will be good – and at the very least, informative. Take from it (and everything) that which you need to be aware, yes? If you don’t have MSNBC, like my setup does not, then you can see segments of the show online, and I’ve put the link in the title below.
Re-member, this is the Moment of Now to look around and realize that We are all One. We are all messengers bringing a message – and a gift – one to the other. So, do your own research and let’s talk again soon.
The Journey is the Dance – let’s hit the road together.
‘Journey to the End of the World’ premieres this Sunday on MSNBC.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29840099/
“Future Earth,” a four-part series on the environment, premieres April 26 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MSNBC. In “Future Earth: Journey to the End of the World,” find out why Earth’s climate machine — the North Pole — is melting alarmingly fast. Learn about our planet’s future, and how you can stop its decline.

Awareness.
Every day I am re-minded of the impact that the Conversations with God series of books have made in my experience as a Spirit in human expression. Although I have had a moment or two of debate with, and over, Neale Donald Walsch (bless him,) there is no denying that the message that has come through this messenger has had an impact on so many – and on the awareness of Oneness & Who we really are – myself included.
So, today I am focusing on Awareness…of what is – of what really is – of what the Illusion is – and of what we create or co-create with that Awareness, given that Perception creates Perspective creates Reality, yes? So, I’d like to talk about the lady who just sang on the British version of the show with Simon Cowell.
I don’t watch much network television. Firstly, because I find most of it geared to dumb us down – deliberately. Secondly, because my hubby has Setanta Sports so he/we can watch our favorite Football (Soccer) team, Arsenal (although we both like the game as a fantastic sport.) Also, because I’m a teacher and a Language person, so I have a package that allows me to hear the languages in real-time. And thirdly, there is the computer, where I spend a lot of time with putting my new business (WordSpirit Communications Network – which includes Team Humanity Network and WordSpirit Translations) online.
However, I was online working and a friend popped in on Skype to say, “You have to hear this woman’s voice! You have to watch the reactions of the judges!” Okay. So I went to YouTube and pulled up the clip. I was astounded, to say the least. The woman has a voice so clear and beautiful that it gives you chills. What I was even more taken by was the unfolding of awareness in the audience, as well as with the judges.
As the woman walked onto the stage, the audience, collectively, looked at one another and at the woman, and it was obvious what they thought about this woman who is clearly not a Barbie Doll type (like most of us); didn’t have a face or a hair style that was consistent with the perception of a “Winner” is. She is older than a “Winner” should be in our western world. Her conversation wasn’t that of someone as polished as those in the audience may have fancied themselves. Eyes rolled and chuckles of disdain and “oh right, here we go, another loser,” filled the place – including the reactions of the three judges.
And then she sang.
And the power, clarity and beauty of her gift sent a message out from the stage across the hall…and I watched. I watched as faces changed – first, from disdain and disbelief…’dissing her’ … to shock – how could that voice be coming from…? Then the faces changed to appreciation for the gift they were receiving. The reality of the gift had wrought a change.
Had the woman changed? She was interviewed later and it showed up on CNN. She is an everyday person living a simple life…with a gift of extraordinary proportions. I wish her success and wonderful things. People’s perceptions had changed – changing their perspective, and therefore, their reality – their view of this Gift, brought to them by this everyday person – another messenger.
So awareness is a critical component of being a messenger – and we are all messengers, one to the other, yes? Everything and everyone in an interchange or an experience is a gift. Are we able to bless every experience…every person…and take from it something that assists in the definition of Who we are? Our Selves? Collectively?
Can we see what is? Can we see what really is? Are we able to discern the Illusion? And can we see our Selves in the other? And finally, what is the gift we take from it?
Being Awareness takes “being in the Moment.” So, today I am Awareness – and practicing Oneness always. For me, practical Spirituality means that I believe WE ARE ALL ONE – and looking the mirror of me and saying, “Today, in each moment, how do I put that into practice?”
I’d love to hear your thoughts on Oneness…and how do YOU put Oneness – the awareness that WE ARE ALL ONE – into practice in YOUR everyday, yes? Looking forward to hearing from you!!!
Blessings and Belly laughs – and tons of opportunities to pass them forward!!!
Peace. The Journey is, indeed, the Dance. Let’s Rock.

It’s a quiet day here again, after several days of driving rain, thunder and lightning. Much of the country, however, is still enduring rough times, so let’s keep them in our intentions and prayers, yes? Thanks.
I’ve been working on my LinkedIn profile, getting it up-to-snuff, and then linking it with my Facebook business site, and my Tweeter. Do I sound like a bit of a Geek? You bet I am! From the time I got my first Dell computer more than a decade ago, I’ve been hooked on learning all I could. It’s like having the Library of the Planet at your fingertips!
There’s just so much you can do – and so many ways to interface and connect with friends, family and business associates and colleagues. Just yesterday, I was invited to – and attended – a webinar with George Kao, whom I came to know through some website work he and his former company had done for Humanitys Team. He’s quite a guy…now on his own (he’s on LinkedIn – look him up!) and running his own business. George’s topic was on linking the various social network sites for maximum visibility and efficiency as you grow your business. As I am growing a business as well (with three divisions to the Network), I found it really valuable, and easy to understand. Bravo, George! If anyone would like to take advantage of George Kao’s expertise, please write to me and I’ll forward your mail to him.
On the THN side, I’m researching for our first seminar locally on recreating and co-creating an interdependent community here in the rural south. We’re fortunate because we have a great “neighborwood” here, with people who have many different skills. None of us are “coffee clutchers” (definition for those of you who might be very young: folks who gather endlessly at one another’s homes and sit and have coffee or tea and chat or gossip), but when needed, we’re there.
Another fortunate thing about down here in these parts is that there are many small communities – granted some in varying stages of decay – that have not been bull-dozed or paved over to create more suburban, cartoonish houses with virtually no land and all building; with McEverything available down the avenue at a Mall. Now for those of you who live in Suburbia, please don’t take offense. It’s just that it’s going to become increasingly difficult, as oil-related products become more expensive (not to mention all that’s already occurring in our world) to maintain the suburban lifestyle in its current incarnation. Here, we still have the reminders that small communities were really workable – and still can be.
The community in which I lived in Ireland was just outside Wexford Town – a lovely, ancient town, with a history that was still alive, and kept that way. There was no mall. There was Furlong’s Butcher shop at the Bull Ring (a small circle in the center of the town). Oh man, you have never tasted a ham hock for a euro fifty the likes of which came out of Furlong’s!!! You knew exactly from where the meat, pork and other animals came. And sure, they were so friendly. I got to know Marty, the butcher and head man, who had a sister living in the Bronx. The Fish Monger (Fish Store) was on a wee side street. From the front door of Bernie the Fishmonger’s store, you could turn your head to your right as your stood facing the little store – and see the harbour – and the fishing boats headed out to or back from the Irish Sea. Bernie was a great gal. She and her hubby owned the store, and her two children alternated working there with them and attending school (The Republic of Ireland has a 97% literacy rate). We’d go in and chat whilst she waited on other customers. The Wexford Opera Festival (not just opera by any means) was an especially busy time, and it was funny to stand there and listen to the interchange between Bernie and the tourists (a story for another post, perhaps, as I digress.) To say we’d get the freshest Atlantic Salmon straight off the boat is the Truth, to be sure. I can almost taste how wonderful it was. No genetically altered anything there.
The point is that we have let something go in our rush through the Oil Age. I’d like to begin to talk about what we can regain as we re-create and co-create our new communities from the remembrance and the wisdom of the old ones. For sure, Life/Earth is not about to give us a choice now. The 20th Century – the century of Oil and Excess – has brought us to this point and we have been willing participants and partners. Not having done our research doesn’t let us off the hook. But we’re here now – and I have grandchildren who I intend to have live in a way that is sustainable, loving and with the awareness that We are all One.
Will you join me? I’m looking for folks who are interested in working in the co-creation of Team Humanity Network communities and hostels. But that’s a simple statement. There is a plethora of work and fun and co-creation available. We’ll be starting from ground up – working as One and reaching for the Sky.
Peace. The Journey is, indeed, the Dance. Let’s crank up the Music.

Endurance.
It’s been a bit of a struggle these last few weeks – not just for me, but for my family. My beautiful, bright little six year old grandboy was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy – Duchennes – the most common, and as far as I know, the deadliest – form of this disease that has been taking so many of our precious little boys over the years.
I remember, even from when I was quite young, that my grandmother and I would sit and watch the Jerry Lewis telethon for MD research and to fund the various camps and assistance that the telethon, and the gifts given, provided. Then, it went on from Friday night through Labor day Monday. Many’s the star who came one – including the now old or gone ones: Frank Sinatra, Alan King, Joey Bishop, Tony Bennett – and even Dean Martin.
Still, although there is not yet a cure, there is hope. Scientists have recently discovered the protein that apparently affects whether the muscles waste away or not. So, we’ll endure – and resolution and healing of this disease and our little boys is possibly not far off. I intend that it happens soon. So be it.
***************
So, Life is not for the faint of heart. And we are not faint of heart. We are endurance. And endurance is something we all cultivate. when we’re young we often have strength, but not endurance. As we age…and grow…the old story of the tortoise and the hare begins to make more sense.
As we move from today, through what I call the Middle Times, into a new tomorrow, endurance is a lovely gift.
The reason for my telling the story of Gabriel above, is so that as we build sustainable, eco-friendly, spirituality-demonstrated type communities and hostels across the planet, that we make space in our planning for all…for our wisdom elders; for our special spirits who bring us gifts, through what we call afflictions or diseases. Exploring these topics now, makes us truly ready to transition into a new way of being and engaging in sustainable, post-carbon, new day communities.
Points to ponder…if you have any ideas to share…want to help…please let us know. We are working with transition town folks, researching always the events on the ground (peak oil, post-carbon living, Oneness). We are also grounded in the 5 Steps to Peace (http://www.5steps2peace.org). Take a look at what’s there, and let us know if there’s wisdom you are connected with that you would like to send and be considered for placement there, yes?
So, for today, that’s it. Oh, one more thing: Humanity’s Team – my amazing and Onederful others of myself who volunteer everyday to bring the awareness of our Oneness to the planet – is alive and well and growing. We have just passed 10,000 signatures on the Oneness Petition! If you haven’t added your name/your intention to the petition and wish to, please go to: http://www.humanitysteam.org and read about it, then sign it and pass the word on: We are all One – and we are practicing!!!
Peace. We are the co-creators of a New Day.
